AQURON® Concrete Densifying Surface Finisher™
Aquron® Surface Finisher™ will not only impart a very
attractive sheen finish, it will work to densify less-than-perfect concrete installations. Aquron "Concrete Densifying Surface Finisher" liquid surface hardener can penetrate some concrete slabs by as much as 1/4"/ 6mm and can increase the surface abrasion resistance by as much as 25% or more.
Diamond polishing concrete that has not yet been treated with Aquron "Concrete Densifying Surface Finisher" will remove the hardened surface of the concrete itself revealing a less-than-hard surface, which can be detrimental to the longevity of concrete (more accessible to moisture penetration, etc.).
It is always best to apply the specified coverage rate of Aquron "Concrete Densifying Surface Finisher". The Aquron will cure to a hardened surface, which will polish out to an attractive highly polished surface protection
increasing its longevity. In cases of fresh concrete it is best to allow the concrete to cure the normal 7 to 28 days to allow moisture in the pores to recede allowing a much deeper penetration of Aquron "Concrete Densifying
Surface Finisher".
