AQURON® 900™ C-S-H Paste Rejuvenation Solution
The durability of Portland Cement Concrete is one of the most important properties of concrete. Sometimes when concrete is placed or when the intended use of concrete is changed it is discovered that the strength is deficient. The concrete is normally removed and replaced at great cost. Not only is cost a major issue it is also very difficult to obtain permits to discord the concrete into the environment.
Aquron C-S-H 900 has the ability, once spray applied to the surface, of concrete to very deeply penetrate. Once penetration has occurred Aquron C-S-H 900 will seek out all un-reacted cement particles, start particles hydrating, without heat, incorporating them into the concrete. When the incorporation process has occurred you will in almost every case increase the integrity and strength of concrete. This benefit alone can save considerable time and money when the strength and integrity must be increased.
Lack of durability of portland cement concrete can be caused by external agents arising from the environment or by internal agents within the concrete itself. Lack of durability causes can be categorized physical, mechanical and chemical. Aquron C-S-H 900 treatment solution addresses all three. Physical causes arise usually from the action of frost and from differences between the thermal properties of aggregate and of the cement paste while mechanical causes are associated mainly with abrasion. Aquron C-S-H 900 works to alleviate all of these adverse condition.
