AQURON® Cleaner of Efflorescence™

AQURON® Cleaner of Efflorescence™ is a blended acid based mixture for the cleaning of efflorescence. Aquron® Cleaner of Efflorescence™ minimizes the potential damage to the surface being cleaned, and is user-friendlier than muriatic acid as an efflorescence cleaner. Three conditions must simultaneously occur for the whitish bloom film or crystal formation known as efflorescence to occur, (1) available source of soluble salts inside the affected masonry, (2) available free moisture to dissolve salts, and (3) means of movement, i.e., hydrostatic pressure for migration of dissolved salts. Aquron® Cleaner of Efflorescence™ is now available as an effective more gentle, user-friendly cleaning agent. Aquron® Cleaner of Efflorescence™ can be used for a safe gentle removal of efflorescence. Treat cleaned masonry surface with Aquron products for the prevention of re-occurrence of efflorescence.
